Manufactured from a cylindrical, thin-walled tube, corrugated stainless steel hoses are made from rolled strips and is welded at the seam. Impressed into this tube is a corrugated annular profile, which helps each convolution to be perpendicular to the center line of the hose. This gives it a superior advantage of movement, wherein each corrugation is relatively independent of the movement from the other. Also, the annular corrugated hose body is flexible and provides a pressure-tight core for the assembly.
